Menurut mereka, masyarakat juga menantikan perkembangan penanganan sejumlah perkara yang hingga kini belum memperoleh kejelasan.<\/p>\n<p>Salah seorang warga, Sepriadi sekaligus ketua Resimen Banyuasin menilai dokumentasi kegiatan personel kepolisian di sejumlah kebun yang beredar melalui media sosial maupun pemberitaan memunculkan beragam tanggapan. Ia mengklaim sebagian lahan pertanian yang dikunjungi telah lama dikelola masyarakat maupun Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes), bukan dibangun oleh kepolisian.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Lucu, sekarang polisi tugasnya seperti penyuluh pertanian saja. Hampir setiap kebun ada polisi berfoto, padahal kebun-kebun itu sudah lama ada. Contohnya kebun melon di Desa Sukamulya yang panen perdananya bahkan diresmikan oleh staf ahli bupati,&#8221; ujar warga yang konsisten dalam mengkritisi kebijakan Pemerintah ini.<\/p>\n<p>Senada, aktivis Banyuasin, Efriadi, mengatakan masyarakat berharap kepolisian tidak hanya aktif mendukung program ketahanan pangan, tetapi juga memberikan perhatian yang sama terhadap penanganan perkara yang menjadi perhatian publik, termasuk dugaan penyalahgunaan pupuk bersubsidi di Desa Sejagung.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Harapan masyarakat sederhana, kasus-kasus yang dilaporkan diproses secara transparan. Jangan sampai publik justru lebih sering melihat dokumentasi kegiatan di kebun dibanding perkembangan penanganan perkara,&#8221; katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Efriadi, sektor pertanian telah memiliki tenaga profesional, seperti penyuluh pertanian, yang bertugas memberikan pendampingan teknis kepada petani. Karena itu, ia berharap kepolisian tetap menempatkan fungsi penegakan hukum sebagai prioritas utama.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Masyarakat tentu mengapresiasi jika kepolisian mendukung program ketahanan pangan. Namun di sisi lain, publik juga berharap perhatian yang sama diberikan terhadap penegakan hukum dan penyelesaian perkara yang menjadi perhatian masyarakat,&#8221; ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Hingga berita ini diterbitkan, Polres Banyuasin belum memberikan tanggapan resmi terkait kritik tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Redaksi berupaya dan membuka ruang hak jawab sesuai ketentuan Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers. tanggapan diterima, akan dimuat pada pemberitaan berikutnya.
