Dalam periode 13\u201320 Maret 2026, jumlah pemudik melonjak di semua moda transportasi, sementara kegiatan pengamanan meningkat 21,3 persen.<\/p>\n<p>Lonjakan ini menegaskan bahwa arus mudik tahun 2026 jauh lebih padat, sekaligus menunjukkan kesiapan Polda Sumsel dalam mengendalikan mobilitas masyarakat skala besar di wilayah strategis Sumatera Selatan.<\/p>\n<p>Polda Sumsel mencatat total kegiatan preemtif dan preventif mencapai 20.495 giat, meningkat dari 16.895 giat pada 2025. Kegiatan preventif menjadi faktor dominan dengan kenaikan signifikan hingga 40,5 persen.<\/p>\n<p>Di sisi lain, seluruh moda transportasi mencatat peningkatan tajam. Terminal bus menjadi yang tertinggi dengan kenaikan 56,2 persen, disusul transportasi udara naik 36,8 persen dan kereta api meningkat 21,3 persen.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, jalur penyeberangan tetap menjadi tulang punggung arus mudik dengan total 764.619 penumpang, naik dari 674.833 pada tahun sebelumnya. Jumlah kendaraan yang melintas juga meningkat signifikan, baik pada arus keberangkatan maupun kedatangan.<\/p>\n<p>Di ruas tol, terjadi pergeseran distribusi arus kendaraan. Tol Terpeka mencatat kenaikan tertinggi menjadi 85.505 kendaraan, sementara beberapa ruas lain mengalami penurunan yang menunjukkan pola penyebaran arus yang lebih merata.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam penegakan hukum, Polda Sumsel memperkuat pendekatan berbasis teknologi. Penindakan melalui ETLE meningkat drastis, sementara tilang manual turun signifikan. Perubahan ini menandai transisi menuju sistem penegakan hukum yang lebih transparan dan objektif.<\/p>\n<p>Namun demikian, peningkatan mobilitas juga berdampak pada angka kecelakaan lalu lintas. Jumlah kejadian meningkat dari 38 menjadi 57 kasus, dengan korban meninggal dunia naik dari 5 menjadi 15 orang. Kerugian material juga melonjak signifikan.<\/p>\n<p>Kapolda Sumsel Irjen Pol Dr. Sandi Nugroho menegaskan bahwa peningkatan angka kecelakaan menjadi perhatian utama.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMobilitas masyarakat meningkat tajam. Kami akan mengintensifkan patroli, penindakan, dan edukasi untuk menekan angka kecelakaan,\u201d tegas Kapolda.<\/p>\n<p>Karo Ops Polda Sumsel Kombes Pol Muhammad Anis Prasetio Santoso menyebut lonjakan aktivitas ini sebagai indikator meningkatnya kepercayaan masyarakat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPengamanan kami meningkat 21 persen. Ini menunjukkan kesiapan kami dalam menghadapi lonjakan mudik. Namun angka kecelakaan menjadi fokus yang terus kami tekan,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Kabid Humas Polda Sumsel Kombes Pol Nandang Mu\u2019min Wijaya menambahkan bahwa data ini merupakan bentuk transparansi kepada publik.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSemua data kami sampaikan secara terbuka. Ini bukti bahwa Polda Sumsel bekerja secara terukur dan akuntabel dalam mengamankan arus mudik,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Keberhasilan pengamanan ini tidak terlepas dari sinergi lintas sektor antara Polri, TNI, Dinas Perhubungan, Dinas Kesehatan, dan pemerintah daerah di seluruh wilayah Sumatera Selatan.<\/p>\n<p>Polda Sumsel mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap disiplin dalam berlalu lintas, beristirahat cukup selama perjalanan, dan tidak memaksakan diri berkendara dalam kondisi lelah.<\/p>\n<p>Masyarakat juga diminta segera menghubungi layanan 110 apabila mengalami kendala atau situasi darurat selama perjalanan.<\/p>\n<p>Polda Sumatera Selatan menegaskan komitmennya untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas pengamanan arus mudik hingga seluruh rangkaian arus balik Lebaran 1447 Hijriah selesai.
